In the e-mail that I received from David Black about the 007 Magazine, it also said this:
"Pierce Brosnan - Bond or not!! Although the media reports that Pierce has had enough of the ongoing Bond debate and ruled himself out - I have heard rumours that some further negotiations may have just taken place and he may still be back for the new film due for release in 2006. Don't rule him out just yet - that's all I can say on the subject!!" Don't know how true this is or if it's simply something to stir the pot, so take it for what it's worth! ![]() Blofeld's barber

QUOTE(Moonraker @ 1 January 2005 - 20:18) Interesting parallel, considering how withered and shagged-out Moore was looking by that point. I like Brosnan, but I don't relish the idea of another Bond actor staying too long at the party... ![]() "(Bond) is England's blunt instrument of international assault -- the spiteful, vicious bastard of a faded empire that still wants the world to do as it's bloody well told. Brosnan probably realizes that one more Bond is his last shot at a gazillion dollar paycheck. One more for the Gipper.

Well, Timothy Dalton was too busy playing a pothead college professor to come back as oo7. Brosnan might have some time on his hands. Why aren't you mad they didn't consider Lazenby?

I want a new James Bond that will help usher in a new direction for the series that will get back to making great entertainment again and not shoddy films that make James Bond a superhero(and a wuss at the the same time) who drives invisible cars and sells products(Rolex:there is no substitute) and promotes video games.
Brosnan had his run and was by all acounts a success. I wish him well. Now, let's give Clive Owen or Hugh Jackman a call please. |
